Part Time Event Staff

Overview: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented On-Site Event staff to support the seamless execution of our continuing medical education conferences. The ideal candidate will have prior event management experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Though this role will primarily travel to conferences across the country, we are looking for candidates based in Washington State. Candidates need to be able to come to our Bellevue, WA, office to pick up conference supplies and return them to the office at the end of the conference.

Position Type: Part Time

Travel: Travel required, including weekends.

This is a recurring weekend contract position, requiring availability for the duration of the conferences. Requires about two weekends a month.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including registration areas, general sessions, breakouts, and exhibition halls.
• Provide logistical support to ensure all equipment, materials, and signage are in place and functioning properly.
• Welcome and register conference attendees, providing them with necessary materials and information.
• Serve as a point of contact for attendees, exhibitors, and speakers, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
• Assist with on-site coordination of event services.
• Collaborate with the Binaytara in-house team to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the conference.
• Provide general administrative support as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event coordination or customer service, preferably in a conference or hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or experience in healthcare-related events (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
