Duties
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions provided by residents and/or healthcare professionals
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Stock and rotate food supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
