Director of Healthcare Services / Registered Nurse (RN)
Serving Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa and the greater valley area
***Please Read: This Part-Time 10 hours a week, W2 employee, RN role will have the title of "Director of Health Services" and will be responsible for 1. Acting as an Advisor/Director for AZ Home Health medical requirements 2. Overseeing Care Plans 3. Performing in office (Mesa) TB testing and 4. Traveling to patients homes for one time assessments. However, this role requires a unique individual that will define their own schedule and is interested to work Part-Time, 10 hours a week. Once we expect to exceed 10 hours a week, this role will move to Full-Time but this individual can decide to stay PT or move to FT and another RN will be hired. As a Director of Healthcare Services/RN, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with home health laws and regulatory standards
- Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides and social workers to ensure client and patient goals are met
- Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers
- Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures
- Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction
- Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care
A few must-haves for a Director of Healthcare Services/RN:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in Arizona
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in home healthcare or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal home health laws and regulatory standards
- Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
