Dina School Childcare Team

Salary Range:

  • $15.00/hr. - $17.23/hr.

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:45 am – 11:00 am and 1:00 pm – 3:15 pm.

Position Summary:

Dina School focuses on children under the age of 7. The sessions cover regulation, problem-solving, and friendship building as well as other social and emotional skills that promote school success. This position provides childcare for the Wings residential moms while they participate in groups.

Duties Performed:

  • Embrace the North Range Behavioral Health Mission Statement - Provide compassionate, comprehensive care for people who face mental health and addiction challenges.
  • Promotes and ensures parental compliance with the terms of the agreement, invoking sanctions as warranted.
  • Ensures the social, educational, and physical needs of children are met, and that a safe, secure, and sanitary environment for children is maintained.
  • Plans and coordinates the educational program for a group of children ages 6 weeks to (7) years of age.
  • Responsible for implementing the program’s curriculum through planning the environment while providing individual, small group, and large group activities.
  • Provides age-appropriate language arts, social studies, cognitive arts, computers, science, art, music, and physical development educational experiences for children in the group.
  • Participates in evaluation and planning sessions with supervisors and staff.
  • Assures that safety precautions are adhered to.
  • Follows and carries out all State, District, and Center policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Education/Credentials:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with parent and family education in the home, community, and other settings.
  • Must be able to obtain certification as required by evidence-based programs.
  • Vaid Colorado Driver’s License with a driving record that meets agency insurability requirements as set forth for positions that must transport clients

Salary placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements will generally occur between the starting wage and the midpoint of the salary range.


Employees may be eligible for additional pay based on program, evening, night, weekend, or holiday work. Bilingual pay may be available upon successful passing of language validation testing.
