Duties include:
Prepare food items according to instructions and recognized safe food handling practices.
Prepares and serves food for all resident's, staff, and guests.
Accepts and reconciles deliveries and puts away stock.
Demonstrates proper use and storage of equipment and maintains a clean environment (utensils, floors, equipment)
Maintains a safe working environment by following all safety procedures, including the use of Standard Precautions, proper storage and use of chemicals, and properly securing the Food Service area.
Cleans, maintains, and sanitizes all cooking utensils and equipment, floor, shelves, coolers, freezers, and storerooms.
Assisting in bussing tables and preparing dishes for washing.
Cleaning dining room tables and chairs as needed.
