Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private cosmetic center has been serving the greater Sacramento area since 2010, with many surgical and non-surgical offerings. Their team currently includes 2 plastic surgeons and 2 physician assistants, along with a robust support staff. The services of the practice are largely cosmetic (little-to-no reconstruction) and include rhinoplasty, face and neck lift, blepharoplasty, gynecomastia, tummy tuck, Brazilian butt lift, thigh and body lift, brachioplasty, liposuction, fat transfer, hair transplants, and breast lift, implant, reduction, and augmentation. They are currently hiring a new CRNA due to growth.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a flexible position within a private, physician-owned cosmetic surgery practice. The new CRNA will, among other duties:
- administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- monitor patient vital signs during surgery
- adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- collaborate with other providers to ensure patient safety and comfort
- provide acute pain management for post-operative patients
- maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient responses
- adhere to professional standards, guidelines, and protocols for anesthesia practice
- ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- proficient in sterile processing techniques
- proficient in maintaining a sterile environment during procedures
- extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to anesthesia administration
- knowledge of critical care settings, such as ICUs or emergency departments
- expertise in acute pain management techniques and strategies
- skilled in medication administration, including intravenous medications and inhalation agents
- experience administering injections for regional anesthesia or pain management procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- current CRNA credentials
- valid California RN license
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- no experience required; new graduates are welcome to apply
