```Duties```
- Prepare and cook main meal of the day (at noon) according to menu, recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards; and grocery shop.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish as needed.
- Assist with special events as needed.
```Requirements```
- Previous experience working in the food industry as a cook or similar role.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and methods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Must be able to lift groceries and stand for periods of time.
