The Part-Time Computer Graphic Artist is responsible for the design and production of computer-generated graphics for both print and web.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Designs signs, banners and posters for Campus activities
- Prepares design layouts, specifications and selection of most appropriate media presentation, in both print and Web formats, to achieve the client’s desired goals
- Takes digital photos and videos of Campus special events
- Performs color correction and photo retouching
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED ) from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of work experience or college courses; or any combination of education and experience
- Coursework in computers, web page editing, art or design; including but not limited to, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Extensive knowledge in the latest version of the software required for production; including but not limited to, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Familiarity with digital photography, digital video taping, large format printing, and video production
- Thorough command of the written English language both oral and in writing
- Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment to include students, faculty, and staff
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekend assignments
