Part-time Cleaner / Customer Service for Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays

Part-time Cleaning / Customer Service Position starts at $18/hour for split shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for a total of 8-14 hours per week.

This position requires the following availability when rentals are scheduled:

• Friday: onsite at 3:30pm for 2-3 hours, then On Call until back onsite at 9:30pm for another 2-3 hours.
• Saturdays starting between 12:30pm - 3:30pm for an hour, then On Call for 5-8 hours until back onsite for another 2-3 hours.
• Sundays starting between 11:30am - 1:30pm for an hour, then On Call for 5-7 hours until back onsite for another 2-3 hours.

The position is 85% cleaning / 15% Customer Service when checking a renter in and out for a private event venue rental in our building and then cleaning after the rental.

The shifts would be split between 1-2 hours at the beginning of the rental and another 2-3 hours after the rental with 4-8 hours in between On Call. On Call requires availability by phone to assist if any questions/issues. This On Call time is not paid unless there are questions/issues.

When we don't have rentals booked then the schedule is flexible and it would be 100% cleaning.

The cleaning would be of a commercial building involving some routine maintenance (garbage collection, floor care, bathrooms) and also deeper cleaning projects, running floor machine and carpet cleaner and miscellaneous cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Checking Venue Renters in and out, and being available for renter support if needed
• Cleaning Venue after rentals
• Routine building cleaning includes garbage collection, floor and bathroom cleaning, cleaning common areas
• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and shampooing rugs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
• Previous Customer Service experience
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong cleaning skills
