Part-Time Center Associate 7743

The Part-Time Center Associate at The UPS Store #7743 will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. This individual will work as part of a team to ensure efficient operations at the store and maintain a positive customer experience. This role will require strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. This is a "non-traditional" center located inside the Omni PGA Frisco Resort where customer service and hospitality are of utmost importance. 

The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

RESPONSIBILITIES     

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process shipping and printing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Package and ship items using UPS or other carriers
- Operate printing and copying equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases
- Promote UPS products and services to customers
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and cash handling
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Handle customer complaints and issues in a prompt and professional manner
- Attend training and educational programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge
     

QUALIFICATIONS            

High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Experience with shipping and printing services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and comfort with technology
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexible availability, 25 to 30 hours a week including *Working Weekends A MUST*
