Positions Available: 4 Part-Time Quality Cashiers

Location: Mercantile Coffee & Feed, 213 N Main St, Nicholasville, KY 40356

Shifts: Varied, must be available for weekends and some evenings

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and take orders from customers with a positive attitude
• Assist in preparing a wide range of drinks
• Help with the preparation of simple food items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and prep kitchenette areas
• Handle transactions and ensure the cash register balances
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves when needed

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant is a plus, but not required
• A love for coffee and food
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our store’s practices
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred
• Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
