Our team is responsible for providing one-on-one care to developmentally delayed children and adults across Los Angeles County. You will be improving the lives of our clients by assisting with non-medical daily living activities while providing a safe home environment.

Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid California Driver’s license or California ID Card
- Social Security Card or Proof of Eligibility to work
- Ability to pass background check
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish, Korean or Armenian)***
Responsibilities
- Take care of developmentally delayed children and adults
- Report directly to administrative agent
- Assisting with food
- Assisting in patient activity, if safe
- Light cleaning around client
- Making patient’s bed and changing linen
- Emotional support and motivation
- Represents the company with a positive image at all times
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all clients
- Maintain appropriate agency records and submission of charting on a bimonthly basis before the 15th of every month and 1st of the following month.
- Adhere to all reporting regulations per policy
- Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
- Adhere to all safety requirements per regulation and departmental policy
- Maintain regular verbal and written contact with agency and notify director immediately of an unusual occurrence or change in patient status
- Must attend in -services as scheduled
- Adheres to time and attendance policies
- Arrives at the clients home on time and leaves when shift schedule is complete
Physical Demands
- Must be able to move freely and be physically able to assist patients with transferring, positioning, bathing and other responsibilities
- Ability to read, write, and speak English is essential and any language that the client understands
- Hearing and visual accuracy is required
Experience
- Caregiving experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Limitations
- May not administer medications
- May not perform procedures or skills that require the knowledge, training and skills of a licensed nurse or certified home health aide
- May not transport patient or family
- Client must not be anywhere else but client's home
