Part Time Basketball Scorekeeper

POSITION TYPE: Hourly, Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY: Provide for efficient and accurate basketball scorekeeping duties for sports leagues and tournaments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides for the proper set up/take down and readiness of sports amenity, equipment and play areas to ensure safety of all participants.
• Inspects equipment before and after program for cleanliness and operational safety.
• Greets teams and secures team line-ups and rosters.
• Accurately operates scoreboards and records statistics/scores during games.
• Compiles statistical data totals at completion of game.
• Provides effective customer service and oversight of officials and conduct of participants.
• Completes appropriate incident/accident reports and provides to supervisor.
• Communicates with staff, teams and supervisor on a regular basis regarding issues and recommended improvements.
