Part-Time Animal Caregiver

The City of Three Rivers is seeking a qualified individual for the position of part-time Animal Caregiver in the Department of Public Services, assigned to the Scidmore Park Petting Zoo. This position is part time, seasonal, non-union, up to 16 hours per week from May through June possibly extending through August pending approval. The 16 hours per week will occur on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to accommodate the open hours of the zoo. Primary duties include interaction with the public during open hours. Secondary duties include but are not limited to animal caretaking, clean-up of the zoo barn and grounds, and coordination with Saturday park programs.

Requirements: HS grad. or GED, MI Driver’s Lic., related skills, and experience.

Temporary Part-Time Position will not begin until May 7, 2024.
