We are looking for a Part-Time Activity Aide for our Memory Care to work on the weekends, and as PRN. Every other weekend 12:00p-4:00p. Perfect for college student (nursing and teaching majors).

At The Villas of Jackson, our assisted living community has staff and programs designed to support and assist residents with daily living and basic care in an apartment setting. We do this by providing residents with a full calendar of social activities, housekeeping, linen services, apartment maintenance, restaurant-style dining, a salon, an exercise and wellness room and local transportation.

For residents needing more support, our professionally trained staff aid with medication, bathing, dressing and other necessary tasks throughout the day. We can also coordinate with outside services, such as rehabilitation providers, and monitor residents to ensure their health and mobility. We work hard to see that you or your loved one gets the care and support he or she needs and deserves. We do this to promote the enjoyment of a quality life without the added stress of daily chores.

As an Activity Aide you will assist the activity director in conducting scheduled activities with the residents. The Activity Aide is expected to be compassionate, upbeat, and encouraging to the residents. Must also be detailed oriented, in order to accommodate the residents needs.

Activities include games, crafts, outings, party's, etc. The idea is to keep the resident social, active, and minds sharp.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
