Under moderate supervision, sets up and operates machines to part mark and package work pieces to specification by performing the following duties: Core Competencies Required for this Position Effectively communicate technical and other information orally, and in writing. Attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Primary Responsibilities Performs basic operation of equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards. Sets up and operates video jet and electro-etch machines to mark parts. Sets up and operates auto-bagger machines, uses a digital scale, treats and packages parts for proper storage.
Monitors machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary; stop machines when problems occur. Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation and performs basic machine upkeep. May perform lubing, clipping, or small part assembly as needed.
Other duties as required. Minimum Education or Experience High School diploma or equivalent 1 year of related experience Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to read blueprints Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm
