Parks, Seasonal (Landscape/Mowing/Fleet/Facilities)
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting with various on-going Parks Maintenance projects. Duties may include mowing, trimming and landscape maintenance; collecting and disposing of refuse in and around parks; maintaining various fences, signs, shelters and playground equipment; custodial and other duties as directed. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and sitting in all weather. Performs heavy lifting tasks up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be flexible to work weekends, some evenings and special events. Individual must be able to work well independently with little supervision and as a team member of a crew.
Starting salary is $16.00/hour depending on experience and includes a free pool pass or fitness membership for yourself for the Summer.

Requirements
- Minimum age 18.
- Demonstrated experience in the field of Parks Maintenance or other related grounds experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Knowledge of accident prevention and precautions applicable to maintenance operations.
- Practical knowledge of mechanized equipment and tools in maintenance operations.
- Hours will be based on a 40 hour work week during the seasonal time frame of May - September.
- Must be available for weekend and holiday work hours.
