Primary Responsibilities
Plan and oversee all components of the campus parking system- Supervise the distribution of parking decals; monitors parking lot capacities; decides
the number of decals to release
- Evaluate parking policy, recommends policy review, prepares and publishes policy
- Help customers with parking inquiries and service requests
- Plan and oversee parking citation processes
- Track vehicles excessive parking citations
- Coordinate parking ticket appeals and appeal hearings
- Plan, coordinate and monitor special event parking requests
- Hire, schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate student parking staff
- Maintain parking space and citation statistics
- Provide various statistical reports to the parking manager and director
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; minimum of 60-hours college credit a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in parking service or customer service; knowledge of parking lot space to decal ratios a plus
- Knowledge and experience of staff training and customer service principles
- Knowledge of MSOffice, Banner, BossCARS, or other parking management software
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc) and able to walk long distances for extended periods of time
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience with and understanding of customer service
