Work Schedule – Monday – Friday 7am to 3pm and some Weekends
Pay Rate - $11.50 per hour
Drivers License is Required
Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record

Position Title: Parking Lot Attendant
Reports To: Supervisor / Manager

Scope of Position:
This position is involved with customer interface at numerous locations or facilities in Downtown Mobile. Duties will include the proper handling of cash, the proper handling of tickets, proper customer service and administrative functions.
Position Objective:
To compute, verify and collect the appropriate charge from all customers.
Position Schedule:
This attendant position is a full-time position. The facility or lot location, schedule, and shift are subject to change to meet operational or client needs at any time.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time (up to 6 or 8 hours, less break)
Ability to calculate rates without the help of a calculator or fee computer
Ability to withstand extreme temperatures
Ability to chalk tires
Ability to lift and carry 25 to 30 pounds (signs)
Ability to sprint short distances
Ability to use hands and arms in repeated motions (making change, punching clock, flagging cars, etc.)
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are Not Limited to:
Customer Service
Always provide the highest level of customer service to all patrons; taking every opportunity to assist customers with questions and directions
Always wear a clean and neat uniform and nametag
Always smile and greet every customer
Always speak clearly, saying “please” and “thank you”
Assist customers with any problem
Report any suspicious activities to Security as soon as possible
Always remain confident, alert and responsible
Seek assistance when dealing with a customer dispute
Cash Handling
Always count the change back out loud to each customer
While working with cash, you must always be careful and accurate at all times
At non-spitter locations, a ticket must be issued each time cash is collected from a customer
Cash must balance with tickets at the end of each shift
Cashiers must prepare and properly record cash drops and keep cash on hand to a minimum
Follow all other cash and ticket handling procedures. Violation of cash or ticket handling procedures may result in disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination.
Administrative Duties (For a Non-Fee Computer Operator)
Always place the amount charged to the customer on each ticket. Each ticket should have an entrance and exit time stamped on it
Ensure that all tickets are properly separated, banding all categories separately
Complete Lost Ticket Vouchers Forms completely for all lost customer tickets
Neatly and accurately fill out a shift checkout sheet at the end of each shift
Provide signed and stamped cash receipts for each customer who requests on
Special Event ticket handling procedures must be followed for non-spitter locations or during special events. Violations of cash or ticket handling procedures may result in disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination
Other Duties
Maintain the appearance of the booth and surrounding area
Perform any task assigned to you by a manager or supervisor
Follow all procedures as outlined in the Location Rules
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.50 per hour
