UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 9 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations and counting! Currently we are looking for multiple Parking Garage Attendantsfor Parking Facility locations under our management in Providence, RI. The hired person(s) will be the front-line to our customers while assisting them with information, directions and other helpful, professional duties as they park their cars in these lots and garage facilities we operate.

Position Quick Facts:

  • Pay rate Ranges from $15 to $16 an hour, and is dependant on prior experience, personal strentghs, and attidude.
  • Part-Time position with some flexibility, ideal shifts will be mornings 7am-1pm with the occasional evening or weekend. Ranging from 20 to 30 hours weekly to start, with a possibility to increase to Full-time (30-40 hours) after a favorable initial period of training.
  • Base pay may be raised upon positive performance review, eligibility begins minimum 90 days after hire date.
  • The hired person(s) will receive for a $500 Sign-On Bonus.

At UPP, our parking attendants play a vital role in the success of the company. They are often the first person to greet and welcome our customers or the last person they’ll interact with upon departure. A pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Provide exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the shift
  • Must provide excellent customer service, always going above the call of duty.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
  • Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
  • Must maintained and groomed, professional appearance
  • Must possess a valid current drivers’ license
  • Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
