UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 9 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations and counting! Currently we are looking for a Full-Time Parking Attendant for our Parking Garage locations in Portland, ME. The hired person will be the front-line to our customers while assisting them with information, directions and other helpful, professional duties to ensure excellent service and leave a lasting impression.

This position is responsible for greeting arriving guests, assisting them as they enter and exit the parking area. Top-Notch guest experiences are vital to this role’s success, so going above and beyond is the common service level. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome guests in an attentive, at-your-service readiness.
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
- Provide exceptional services to all guests in a confident, friendly, and efficient manner
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests and parkers
- Provide exceptional services to guests and parkers in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
- Assist with questions about the facility and local area as needed
- Maintain cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and other general lot maintenance
- Responsible for money handling of a cash drawer and accountability of those funds
- Resolves customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor
- Ensure compliance with company practices and policies, as well as local, state, and federal laws
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

- Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the shift
- Must provide excellent customer service, always going above the call of duty.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
- Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
- Must maintained and groomed, professional appearance
- Must possess a current drivers’ license with at least one year of experience
- Must undergo a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
