Job description

About the Position: This Park Contract Inspector position is located at Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville Tennessee and is a Full-Time Seasonal position. The typical work period is usually between mid-March and mid-December, but may change based on the needs of the organization. Weekend work will be required during recreation season approximately April through September.Qualifications:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
Monitoring compliance of regulations related to construction and/or service contracts. Preparing written reports pertaining to quality of service and/or products and performing minor maintenance work such as: grounds maintenance work, electrical and plumbing repairs, and conduct safety inspections.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
