Ascension Lutheran Church in Towson is seeking a dedicated Parish Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operation and function of the congregation. Responsibilities include office management, generating weekly worship bulletins, social media announcements, church communications, maintaining church records and statistics and other support needed for the success of the congregation. Additionally, Parish Administrator will collaborate with staff, church council and lay members to further the church's mission: Invite in Love, Grow in Faith, Serve Christ Everywhere!
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience with cloud computing for database management is required.
- Experience with social media platforms and management of accounts is required.
- Experience utilizing Constant Contact or similar platform for communication is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Faith Connector or similar website management software is preferred.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Prior experience with church office administration is a plus.
Supervision
The Parish Administrator reports to the Senior Pastor.
Work Hours
Part-Time, 30 hrs/wk; Monday-Thursday 8:30am-3:00pm and Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
