Summary:
An assistant to nursing on the unit whose primary function is to assist with patient care and to help ensure care is complete. The ED Paramedic works as part of the nursing team on the unit to ensure that each and every patient and guest to the hospital has their needs met, whether that need is physical, emotional, spiritual or educational. Promotes a positive image of Baptist Health in the community.
Other information:
A paramedic must be a graduate of an approved Paramedic Training Program, current Arkansas state and national registration as a Paramedic with a minimum of one (1) year current Paramedic experience , ability to demonstrate proficiency in acute care, knowledge, and skills, ability to care for multiple patients, willingness to work flexible hours, CPR certification, ACLS certification, and must be willing to obtain PALS and TNCC certification within the first six (6) months of employment.
This job will be authorized 8.00 hours bi-weekly.
