PALLETIZER PROCESSING 1ST SHIFT

Job Overview

The Palletizer is responsible for palletizing the cases of product onto pallets. The boxes are to be stacked per correct pallet configuration. Job consists of reading and understanding the production schedule. This position requires employee to be able to learn and operate labeler and tape machine. Job consists of reading, understanding the production schedule, lifting, and standing for long periods of time performing repetitive movement. As with all positions, employee is expected to follow all Safety, GMP, Attendance and Food Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Follow all Safety, GMP and Food Safety guidelines
• Keep work areas clean and in order. This includes sweeping and placing waste in the proper bins.
• Able to lift, up to 50 pounds
• Place the finished product (Boxes) on the correct pallet and per the correct pallet configuration.
• Ensure the box labeling has the correct information and matches what is on the schedule and required for the order.
• Must be able to setup and change the labels on labelers.
• Must be able to setup tape machine for each item run on the line.
• Learn to read and understand the production schedules and how to properly complete the Gatekeeper Reconciliation form.
• Work as a team member and be flexible and willing to work different lines. This will also include working in different areas as needed. Palletizers are occasionally needed to work in High Care trimming product as well as packing in packout.

• Willingness to come to work when scheduled and on time.
• Willingness to work as a team player.
• Willing to work Wednesdays and Saturdays when needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and able to work in a cold environment.
