Pallet Jack and Forklift

Giorgio Fresh, a division of Giorgi Companies Inc. located in Phoenix, Arizona has an immediate opening for a Powered Industrial Vehicle Operator responsible for operating forklifts and Pallet Jacks. Giorgio is the nation’s largest suppliers of mushrooms, delivering fresh mushrooms to a diverse customer base throughout the United States.

Essential Functions:

• Operates Pallet Jacksand Forklifts to deliver products and materials to the mushroom packaging line.
• Transports finished pallets of packaged mushrooms from the packaging machine area and to the cooler.
• At the end of production will remove any unused supplies to facilitate proper cleaning of the packaging areas.
• Performs other duties and tasks as required or directed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experienced operating a variety of powered industrial vehicles such as lift trucks and Pallet Jacks.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Carries out supervisor’s instructions.
• Performs job in a safe manner, and follows all safety procedures.
• Participates in all required training classes.
• Performs housekeeping procedures as required at the end of shift.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others to ensure smooth and safe functioning of department.
• Ability to work with limited Supervision.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
