SalaryPurpose:
Assist Lead Finisher with painting and staining customer's products.
Move product from the warehouse to the prefinish area.
Unwrap products, remove and label accessories.
Disassemble products and protect for finishing in the company
Analyze order copies and daily schedule for finishing requirements.
Perform visual quality inspection for, but not limited to, missing parts, damage, glue or silicone squeeze out.
Repair damaged product prior to finishing (ironing out dents, remove glue or silicone residue, light sanding, etc.)
Apply stain, paint and topcoat in accordance with the process guidelines to achieve a quality appearance.
Reassemble products for shipment.
Ensure exceptional levels of quality and accuracy while maintaining on-time completion.
Clean work area and tools after each use.
Update the Warehouse Management System, utilizing the scanners, when product is moved.
Generate ideas for improving safety and efficiency.
Actively participate in the continuous improvement process.
Comply with all safety procedures and attend monthly safety meetings.
Timely attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to learn finishing skills. (Minimum 12 months finishing experience preferred.)
Ability to lift and carry more than 100 pounds.
Ability to learn mechanical skills and use hand and powered tools.
Valid driver
Ability to understand and carry out instructions.
Ability to communicate with and work well with others.
Must be able to pass medical exam to wear a respirator.
Safety conscious.

Pay: From $19.85 per hour
