```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in construction painting, trim carpentry, and maintenance person skills. Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Repair and replace damaged drywall or woodwork
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as trim installation and repair
- Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine painting requirements
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Experience in trim carpentry and blueprint reading
- Ability to perform basic carpentry tasks such as building or repairing structures
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
