This position is working in an automotive fabrication shop.
Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures to provide for a safe and healthful workplace
Meet or exceed daily production goals as directed by the manager and the departmental objectives
Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment to manager
Direct all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area
Perform all assigned tasks per the work guidance sheets
Vehicle mechanical operations
Paint shop equipment and tools, Cordless tools, Vibratory tools, Standard assembly tools
Paint & Spray activities
Perform daily maintenance on application equipment and support hardware to optimize performance and meet departmental targets
Create and maintain appropriate documents
Knowledgable in formulations and additives related to coatings/paint applications
Assist with installation of parts supplied by vendor or fab.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills are also essential for collaborating with clients, contractors, and other team members.
