What is Create! Quad Cities? A group of creatives determined to share the love of art and fun in the QCA!

We're looking for a fun and outgoing individual that would be comfortable guiding a group of guests through a 2 hour painting class located at local bars and restaurants in the Quad Cities. We believe that creativity is key and that life is too short to not enjoy yourself along the way.

Here's a little bit more of what we're looking for:

- Comfortable speaking in front of and instructing a group through a 2 hour painting/crafting project

- Encourage guests and promote positivity (this is a party first, and class second, we don't stress!)

- Basic painting skills and able to teach to beginners (No need to be a master artist but should be able to replicate beginner-friendly paintings)

- Break down projects step-by-step (think Bob Ross style)

- Responsive and communicate on a regular and timely basis

- Comfortable communicating with restaurant/bar staff

- Good time management skills

- Light lifting (approximately 35 pounds) required to move supplies

- Must have reliable transportation to QCA venues and space to store event totes/supplies in a temperature controlled storage space

- Must have reliable high speed internet for broadcasting virtual events over Zoom

- Evening and weekend availability (dates are flexible)

- Must be 21+ (we work in venues that serve alcohol)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
