About the Role

• Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of Norplas to provide for a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.
• Maintain proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned tasks.
• To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Norplas.
Your Responsibilities
• Maintain records of work performed as required using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and work order procedure.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of
Norplas equipment. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical equipment, hydraulics, mechanical, piping, pumps, and pneumatics in the Paint Department and Mechanical Room.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment in the Paint Department and Mechanical Room per the CMMS.
• Must demonstrate the ability to use required hand tools for the paint department and have all tools and equipment required to perform work prior to beginning at Norplas. (See attached tool list)
• Must demonstrate the ability to read parts breakdown and machine schematics.
• Involved in the management of hazardous waste. Will attend training on an annual basis.
Who we are looking for
• Associate’s Degree required. Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
• Must have a working knowledge of Industrial Electrical and PLC.
Your preferred qualifications
• Journeyman’s card preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
