General Labor – 1st Shift
FurstStaffing has four DIRECT HIRE General Labor positions available to start immediately. These General Labor positions are on the 1st shift. These positions involve packaging and sanitation functions of packaging, loading packaging machine, labeling, bagging, weighing, boxing, palletizing, cutting, and some basic sanitation duties.
Hours: 5am to 3pm, Mon-Fri
Pay: $16.90/hour +$1 from 5pm to 10pm; +$2 from 10pm to 5am
General Labor Responsibilities:
- General feeding responsibilities including placing product in packet and weighing
- Building boxes, coding, inspecting, packing, taping and labeling
- Accurate record keeping
General Labor Requirements:
- Food manufacturing experience needed, but willing to train candidates with good work history
- Strong listening skills
- Initiative to complete tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to read, understand and follow written procedures
- Demonstrate flexibility in job roles, assisting teammates when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and squatting
- Repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
