Packing Operator- Days And Nights

This position is for night shift ONLY.

Must be able to WORK & TRAIN on any shift (Day or Night).

Position openings may change with production needs.

Job Description

• Operate and oversee packaging lines to ensure consistent output and production quality are attained while keeping costs to a minimum
• Responsible for line employees’ performance
• Setup and adjust packaging machinery for designated integrity, etc. as needed per customer specifications
• Communicate with lab
• Train new line employees in duties/responsibilities
• Participate in periodic evaluations with documentation on line employees
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance on machinery
• Responsible for sanitation and organization of work area during production

Basic and Preferred Qualifications

• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Communicate well in English in both written and oral form.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide using a calculator
• Read and use a weight scale
• Stand for long periods and climb stairs and ladders
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work independently with little or no supervision.
• Be responsible for following company policies and procedures.
• Work safely and be willing to be involved in company safety programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.97 per hour
