SalaryThe Machine Operator sets up and maintains the Packing Machine efficiency and output for the full line of dry products while maintaining all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards. Ensure that the quality of finished products is correct in appearance and texture. Previous Food Manufacturing Machine Operator experience is preferred.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Properly sets up the assigned Packing Machine (s) of Coffee products
- Starts/tests the machine early before the packers arrive.
- Reports any problems to the Supervisor
- Adheres to the assigned Production Schedule-meets quantity and quality targets
- Follows all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Maintains housekeeping standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good attendance record.
- Good work record.
- Basic Food Manufacturing and Sanitation knowledge.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
Food Safety Responsibilities: Follow GMP rules and ensure staff is also complying. Ensure product is being made to specification. Alert manager if product, machinery, staff, or building is not in compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
