This position is in Cargill’s food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies.Job Type: Full TimeShift(s) Available: RotatingCompensation: Starting at $20.00 or higher based of experiencePrincipal Accountabilities Operate packaging equipment including bagger and palletizersEnter and reconcile production inventory in SAP and manage tasks using a variety of other computer programsCreate and apply product labels in accordance with regulatory and quality standardsCollect finished product samplesOperate process equipment to add dry product into a liquid systemOperate a forklift and maintain equipment certificationUnload and load materials using the warehouse racking systemUnload and load trailers of supplies and finished productTroubleshoot and participate in maintenance activities of packaging equipmentExecute equipment lockouts and issue work permits as neededUpholding a food safe environment, performing regular checks to verify product safety, and adhering to plant Prerequisite ProgramsRequirementsMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or olderAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respiratorAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic computer skillsAbility to operate a forkliftAbility to work 12 hours rotating day shifts and overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticePreferred QualificationsPackaging experience in an industrial settingMinimum of 6 months of forklift operating experienceMechanical aptitude including troubleshooting pneumatic and electrical systemsExperience working in a GMP/food safe environmentUser knowledge in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other labeling softwareExperience loading and unloading trailers in compliance with state/interstate shipping regulationsConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
