Trazza is a local manufacturer of fresh and authentic, preservative free, Lebanese food. We currently serve 100 stores and businesses in the Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area. We are moving to a brand new, state of the art, manufacturing facility in Tualatin, and we are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to grow with us!

Summary: The Food Prep and Packaging Team is responsible for preparing and processing all perishable products into wholesale and retail packages, as well as filling customer orders, in a sanitary and temperature-controlled environment that protects product integrity and shelf life.

Duties & Requirements For Team Members:

• A current Food Handlers Card for the state of Oregon.
• Practice attentive and consistent sanitary food handling techniques.
• Operate equipment using care, responsibility, and proper safety precautions.
• Work in a cold temperature room of 40-45 degrees F while wearing recommended PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Stand at their workstation and perform filling techniques that involve thumb, wrist, elbow and shoulder repetitive motions.
• Operate automated packaging equipment as trained.
• Carry up to 50 lbs. and lift it to tabletop height.
• Understand English written and verbal instructions and be able to communicate verbally and record numbers.
• Use scales in both metric and American Standard weight units including decimals.
• Be able to maintain a clean work area.
• Develop accuracy and speed in filling packages.
• Be prepared to learn and perform different prep and packaging steps as needed.
• Understand 4-digit date formats and be able to read a simple spreadsheet.
• Be able to use, read and record readings on an infrared digital thermometer.
• Perform end of shift clean up and sanitization protocols for equipment, workstation, and general production facility.
• Employ proper rotation practices of inventory as needed.
• Wash all produce following sanitization protocols for equipment, workstation, and general production facility

Physical Ability: Stand for length of shift

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software.
