Packaging Services Specialist

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Our Packaging Services Specialist will support the daily activities of our Marketing Packaging Services Manager. They will assist with executing key responsibilities, including packaging graphics, packaging budgets, packaging sustainability, and international.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Packaging Graphics

• Creative development:
• Assist with packaging creative process involving cross-functional team
• Proofing & Routing:
• Proofing and cross-functional routing of select packaging graphics using the 4Pack system
• Maintain inventory of all current packaging graphics and photographs
• Timelines & trackers:
• Coordinate timelines, ensuring cross-functional tasks are on track to deliver packaging artworkon time using Microsoft Project
• Develop a weekly cross-channel priority list for regulation.
• Develop weekly packaging tracker with packaging procurement.
• Packaging printing quality:
• Attends print OK at suppliers as needed, including travel
• Work with cross-functional and color separators to ensure quality printing.

Packaging budgets

• Track photography, artwork development, regulatory international budget approvals and POs. Tracks POs in abudget tracker

Packaging Sustainability:

• Manage How2recycle submissions.

International:

• Work with regulatory and translation agencies (Techlink, Eticon, Costco Japan/Korea) to translate packaging forinternational
• Tropical Food's international regulatory compliance requests

Other duties as assigned

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years’ experience in Graphic Design, Communications, Pre-press, or similar
• Proactive, self-starter, highly organized individual
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Previous CPG experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and intrapersonal skills
• Collaborative with the ability to work independently
• High degree of self-motivation and discipline
• Strong time management, presentation, and communication skills (both written & verbal)
