Packaging Operator

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr. on W2 (without benefits) for MON-THU 4PM-2:30AM EST

Pay Rate: $15/hr. on W2 (without benefits) for SHIFT MON-THU 6am-4:30pm

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• With minimal supervision, assist in the packaging and labeling of full commercial scale batches, scale-up, development and CTM batches
• With minimal supervision, assemble, disassemble, clean and store packaging equipment
• Document packaging and labeling steps in batch records accurately and completely as required; demonstrate ability to complete documentation with minimal errors
• Perform start-up and in-process testing accurately and ensure properly documented
• Become proficient in performing functions in QAD
• Assist the Packaging Line Team Leader as needed

Education or Equivalent Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of packaging experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted, and push a maximum of 100 lbs
• Majority of work day is performed while standing and walking
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, and have full range of motion in upper and lower extremities
• Exposure to moving machinery parts, and damp, humid and wet environments

This position requires that a respirator be worn for your safety, and as such, employment is contingent upon being able to complete a medical evaluation with satisfactory results
