Form of workYou will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City facility - Home of Vlasic. You will report to production lead and team lead. You will receive training on four Packaging Machines, Labeler, Tray pack, Print/Apply and Palletizer. You will relieve co-workers; you will provide support to teammates, and you will be assigned to meet changing needs. This is a day shift opportunity. This position is scheduled starting at 6:00 a.m. departing at 3:45 p.m. The hourly rate for this position is $20.37/hour.
What will you do:
The Relief Operator position will provide relief for leaves, breaks, absenteeism, and vacations. Relief operators are expected to meet production needs and support training needs to achieve our goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure production run: coverage for leave, vacation, absenteeism, break relief, training.
Responsible for shift start up procedures.
Operate Packaging Machines.
Complete required documentation in compliance with food industry standard.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and daily schedules.
Maintain work areas in a neat and sanitary fashion.
Work with team leaders and production leadership.
Assist others when needed.
Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
