Job Description
- Assign employees to jobs as needed
- Inspect equipment to assure proper operation and safety
- Ensure safety procedures are followed
- Ensure operational procedures are followed, such as adherence to GMPs, quality control, cleaning, and sanitation
- Train new employees
- Monitor and report non-compliant or sub-standard product
- Monitor equipment operation and notify team if maintenance is needed
- Ensure proper and accurate documentation is recorded
- Assist in other areas of the plant when necessary
- Must have knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies
- Possess basic math skills for calculations; understand weights and measures
- Ability to communicate effectively; able to read, interpret and understand oral and written instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent experience and skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., up to 100 lbs. occasionally
