SalaryThe Lawrence Paper Company, a leading corrugated box manufacturer for over 130 years, is seeking applicants committed to teamwork with production experience to qualify as a Line Lead in our growing Lawrence facility.
We are seeking self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and attendance who have a good work history and are comfortable performing a variety of tasks. Manufacturing, supervisory experience, and a high school diploma or GED are desired.
Responsibilities include performing various duties on a packaging line and making sure that line is set up and run efficiently throughout the shift while adhering to quality and safety guidelines. Achieving daily production goals, implementing and improving productivity, making decisions based on the production requirements are essential. Individuals must be able to communicate effectively with floor supervisor, fork truck and inventory control personnel to replenish supplies and materials as needed.
Qualified applicants will be expected to pass a drug test and pre employment physical. This is a day shift job that may require some overtime from 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Pay rates start at $19.30 hour with a re-evaluation after a 90-day probationary period.
