Hourly Rate:
$18.25 an hour ($ 1.00-night shift differential)
Are you looking for a fun yet challenging environment? Sabra is seeking Packaging Associates for the night shift. As you step into this role, you will be working alongside awesome people who have a common goal of delivering quality hummus to our customers, family, and friends.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sabra Safety, Quality, and Production Goals
- Perform inspection and proper handling/packaging of products to ensure high quality for consumers
- Stage packaging material
- Ensure that product is stacked properly on pallets, stretch wrapped, and labeled
- Pack cartons and cases
- Palletize and inspect various pieces of machinery including x-ray machines and case packer machines
- Apply case labels
- Work with various types of equipment: walkie-stackies, forklifts, and conveyor belts
- Adhere to attendance standards
- Adhere to all Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements
- Work in a safe manner, report all accidents and incidents immediately, follow all safety rules and regulations according to company and governmental standards and attend safety meetings and training
- Perform general housekeeping duties – Keep work area clean/dispose of waste
- Interact with all team members with courtesy and professionalism
- Participate in company improvement projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Recipe for Success:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Military experience a plus
- Ability to respond to verbal and written instructions
- Previous continuous employment at one or more locations preferred

- Reliable, reports to work on time, works the entire scheduled shift, and follows proper call-out procedures
- Self-starter with the capacity to work with minimal supervision as well as work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to walk, bend and stand for 12 hours in steel-toed boots (provided)
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments
