Packaging Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Tea Processing and Packaging Specialist to join our team. This role is centered around the handling, weighing, and packaging of various types of teas. No prior experience is required, as we will provide comprehensive training. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh and measure different types of tea accurately according to specific guidelines.
• Process teas into pouches, ensuring proper filling and sealing.
• Monitor the quality of tea during processing to ensure consistency.
• Package processed teas into pouches, labeling them correctly and preparing them for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all hygiene and safety protocols.
• Keep accurate records of production, including tea types, quantities, and batch information.
• Inspect packaging materials and products to identify any defects or issues.
• Assist in managing inventory of teas and packaging materials.
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance processing and packaging efficiency.
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in measuring and weighing.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to specific recipes.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to keep precise records.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
