Under the direction of the CTE Director, the P -TECH Coordinator serves as the support to instructors and students enrolled in the P-TECH programs at E-Cubed & PCTA. The P-TECH Coordinator is a vital link between students and families, the school, CCRI and industry partners. The P-TECH Coordinator support students with all components of the P-TECH program- rigorous coursework, dual enrollment, attainment of industry credentials and work-based learning.

The P-TECH Coordinator support students with all components of the P-TECH program- rigorous coursework, dual enrollment, attainment of industry credentials and work-based learning.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Three to five years working with urban youth in an educational setting.
- Build strong relationships with P-TECH students and instructors.
- Assist students and families in understanding the structure, supports and expectations of the P-TECH program.
- Work with CCRI, families and students to enroll students in dual enrollment courses.
- Monitor and support students in college classes.
- Work with industry partner The Tech Collective to match P-TECH students with industry mentors.
- Identify and share opportunities for work-based learning including school-based enterprise, industry projects, and internships. Monitor student experiences.
- Assist students in completing associate degree programs after graduation.
- Work with P-TECH instructors to prepare a budget that supports the attainment of RIDE approved metrics.
- Work with P-TECH instructors to create and maintain a backwards map and updated data tracker. Ensure that student outcomes are mapped to CTE Board standards.
- Work with P-TECH instructors to design tiered interventions to support student outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison for instructors to business, industry, community-based organizations and other interested community members.
- Assist P-TECH instructors and school administrators with procurement of equipment, supplies and credentials.
- Support recruitment efforts of 8th grade students throughout the fall/winter recruiting season.
- You must complete the new hire compliance training prior to your first day of employment
- Bilingual Preferred
- Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check. Selected candidates cannot begin work until passing their background check.
