Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive various types of commercial vehicles, including tanker trucks, flatbed trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and forklifts.
- Safely transport freight to designated locations.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience driving various types of commercial vehicles, including tankers, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and forklifts.
- Knowledge of route planning and navigation to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as forklifts for loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and company personnel.
