Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Serve a fleet of 30 Owner Operators by providing business opportunities and guidance.
- Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with Owner Operators and Company Driving Associates.
- Provide Owner Operators with viable freight options from Swift's network.
- Track frequency of load rejections and provide Owner/Operator with consequences of continually rejecting viable freight options and impact on settlements which, if negative, can lead to contract termination.
- Routinely review Owner Operator revenue goals and provide verbal and written advice on ways to optimize their income.
- Proactively manage safety performance to achieve insurance and claims cost as a percentage of revenue targets.
- Track safety events and provide company leadership and Owner/Operator with documented risk assessments and recommended actions up to and including contract termination.
- Collaborate with Planner(s) to ensure assigned Owner/Operators have viable freight options.
- Develop strategies and sponsor key initiatives which lead to successful Owner Operators.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 2+ years' in Operations and/or Planning and/or Customer Accounts required.
- Previous Driver Leader experience required.
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Bachelor's preferred.
- Must be able to sell/consult a business model.
- Must possess a winning can-do attitude.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize thru an ever changing environment.
- Must be able to work in high pressure situations in a fast paced environment.
