Owner Operator Job Summary
We are seeking independent Owner Operators for over-the-road (OTR) routes across all 48 states. This opportunity offers the freedom of being your own boss, extensive travel, and the support of our dispatch services. No Hazmat or Tanker endorsements required. Our company needs a tractor-trailer Owner Operator to join our team. You must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and be able to make long trips on a strict schedule. Experience in commercial driving, such as hauling large materials on a flatbed or making smaller local deliveries, is also required. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has strong time management skills, and keeps accurate documentation of miles logged and signatures from clients. Flexibility with your schedule is essential, as you must deliver your shipments within a specific timeframe.
Owner Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate your own truck for long-haul deliveries across the 48 states.
- Efficiently manage and transport various cargo loads.
- Ensure safe, timely, and secure delivery of freight.
- Comply with all national trucking and safety regulations.
- Pick up shipments from our warehouse
- Haul loads to their destination by the assigned deadline
- Collect signatures from clients upon delivery
- Log all of your miles, hours, and deliveries
- Keep your truck clean and well-maintained
- Follow all safety and labor regulations while on the road
Owner Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- Ownership of a well-maintained heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
- Valid truck driving license.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 driving violations.
- No DWIs/DUIs in the past.
- No felonies in the last 7 years.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- A commercial driver’s license
- A semi-truck with proof of ownership or lease agreements
- At least one year of commercial driving experience
- Valid auto and liability insurance
- Strong time management skills
