Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and installs/assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings. Performs setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and coordinates with supplier for service and repairs where needed. Monitors and analyzes all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module related issues. Creates reports of system failures, updates existing specs, and creates new specs that supports overall equipment maintenance/performance. Works with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, supports data collection activities, and generally completes tasks per published procedures. Supports Engineering with Module Equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation that will meet or improve module availability and performance targets preventing future excursions. During factory ramps, works with module engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and/or converted per designs.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the below requirements:
- Military training in a technical field such as Electronics, Mechanical, or a similar technical field.
- Certification in a technical field such as Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Electronic Engineering Technology, or a related field of study.
- High School diploma with 4+ months of experience in technical/manufacturing field
- An Associate's degree in a STEM discipline.
In addition, the candidate must be willing to:
Work a day shift compressed workweek schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve-hour days in a row followed by a fourth day every other week. This is a day-time, front end of the week shift going from PM to AM, starting Sunday through Tuesday with a week-on week-off Wednesday shift.
Work in a cleanroom environment wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
Lift up to 25 lbs. 5 times/shift, spend the majority of the time on the floor working toolsets, walking 2-4 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in mechanical maintenance, manufacturing environment, semiconductor environment, or related field
