Job Summary:
As an Overnight Watchman at The Country Club of Rochester, your role would encompass a combination of security and janitorial responsibilities to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and overall well-being of the club's facilities during overnight hours.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the club's facilities, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure that restrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and properly maintained throughout the shift.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas, ensuring that all waste is properly sorted and disposed of according to club policies and procedures.
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors as needed to maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
- You will be responsible for monitoring the premises during the overnight hours to ensure the safety and security of the club's facilities
- Enforce access control policies by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying the identity of individuals entering the premises, and ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed on the property.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with other staff members, including supervisors, colleagues, and emergency services, as necessary.
- Adhere to all club policies, procedures, and regulations related to cleaning, security, safety, and conduct.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on job-related skills, knowledge, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to meet the needs of the club and its members.
