Overnight Pet Care/Playgroup Attendant

This is a contracted job position, not full time. Potential for occasional part time daycare shifts available as well.

Requirements

1. Professional, reliable, punctual, hard working and trustworthy

2. Experience working with dogs(and a LOVE for dogs), comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. Ability to care for and manage groups of dogs of all sizes.

3. Must have drivers license, reliable car, clean driving record, clean background check

4. Flexible schedule and open availability for last minute jobs

5. Must own smartphone to send updates and photos to clients

6. Maintain high standards for cleanliness

7. Availability and comfort sleeping away from home for up to several weeks at a time.

As an Overnight Pet sitter, you will ensure daycare & boarding dogs are well cared, exercised and safe while business owner is out of town. Applicant will stay at business owners property in Clairemont.

Duties include early morning potty break(6:30-7:30) as well as potty break before bed(9pm), feeding(medication as instructed by owner), intake of daycare/boarding dogs during drop off and pick up hours, keeping dogs calm and quiet, taking out trash, scooping poop and sanitizing areas where dogs will play, vacuum/mop/cleaning duties and sending daily photo updates as well as once per week social media updates. Dogs do not leave property so no walking is required.

Business owner leaves town frequently for anywhere from a few days to several weeks: Owner needs reliable sitter who can care for daycare and boarding dogs while gone.

Each overnight is considered a block of 24 hours with short breaks to leave(2-4 hours) during mid day and evening.

Pay is a flat rate $220 per overnight(24 hours) Sleep time is included in rate

This is a good opportunity for someone who does remote(part time) work as well but has flexible hours.
